Bio
Must Be Tuesday is an alternative rock act from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. With influences ranging from powerpop to modern rock, the style falls somewhere in between. MBT's sound, which has been described as eclectic, incorporates vocal harmonies, a full synthesized rock band, and memorable, comedic lyrics. It gets an enthusiastic response from first time listeners, as well as dedicated fans.

The line up, in the past, has been an ever-changing thing, and is currently composed of just one person: Nancy Price. The previous incarnation of the band got started quickly, with a radio interview and 200-person venue performance happening within the first eight months. With the new-found freedom that a solo act provides, Nancy is hard at work recording a demo CD, the first tracks of which will be available online as soon as they're completed. She is constantly writing new songs and improving her instrumental and vocal skills.

In addition to singing, Nancy plays the piano and guitar, writes drum and bass parts, composes and does arrangement for every song. One of her biggest strengths, though, is her lyrics, which range from hilarious to moving, hateful to joyful. By using inspiration from events in her real life, she causes the audience to relate to the songs on a personal level, making the lyrics all the more funny, or bitter, or both at once.
